Legal operations at MaxiMize Infinium is the operational engine that enables the legal function to operate at sovereign scale. You will manage the infrastructure supporting legal counsel, compliance analysts, and advisory teams across 18 countries — including legal technology, matter management, vendor management, and process optimization.
Your role bridges the gap between legal practice and operational excellence. You will implement and manage legal technology platforms, optimize workflows for contract management and compliance tracking, manage external counsel relationships and legal spend, and drive data-driven decision-making in the legal function.
This role requires someone who understands legal practice well enough to optimize it — combining operational discipline with appreciation for the nuances of legal work across multiple jurisdictions.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Manage legal operations infrastructure including matter management, contract lifecycle, and compliance tracking systems
- Implement and optimize legal technology platforms supporting operations across 18 countries
- Manage external counsel relationships including panel management, fee negotiations, and performance monitoring
- Develop and track legal department KPIs including matter throughput, cycle times, and cost efficiency
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement in legal workflows and service delivery
- Manage legal department budget including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimization
- Coordinate legal resource allocation across matters, jurisdictions, and engagement types
- Oversee legal document management, knowledge management, and precedent libraries
- Develop legal operations reporting and dashboards for department leadership
- Lead legal department change management initiatives including technology adoption and process transformation
