You will develop IP strategies spanning patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and copyrights across 18 countries — safeguarding the innovations that enable sovereign-grade operations.

About the Role
Intellectual property at MaxiMize Infinium is the legal shield protecting sovereign-grade technology. You will manage the full IP lifecycle for S3-SENTINEL and related platforms — from patent prosecution and trade secret protection to licensing strategy and enforcement across 18 countries.
Your practice will cover patentability analysis for quantum-resistant security innovations, trade secret protection for proprietary algorithms and methods, trademark portfolio management for organizational branding, and copyright protection for software and documentation. You will advise on IP implications of partnerships, client engagements, and technology transfers.
This role requires an IP lawyer who understands technology at a deep level — someone who can discuss quantum-resistant encryption with engineers and then translate those innovations into robust patent claims and trade secret protections.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Manage the organizational IP portfolio including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets across 18 countries
- Conduct patentability analyses for S3-SENTINEL innovations including quantum-resistant security technologies
- Develop and implement trade secret protection programs for proprietary algorithms and methods
- Prosecute patent applications and manage patent portfolios across Indian and international patent offices
- Draft and negotiate IP licensing agreements, technology transfer agreements, and IP assignment documents
- Advise on IP implications of partnerships, joint ventures, and client engagement structures
- Monitor for IP infringement and manage enforcement actions including cease and desist proceedings
- Conduct IP due diligence for M&A transactions and strategic partnerships
- Develop IP education programs for engineering and research teams on invention disclosure and IP protection
- Advise on open source licensing compliance and third-party IP risk management
What You Bring
Skills & Expertise
Required
- Qualified legal professional with specialization in intellectual property law
- Deep understanding of Indian patent law, trademark law, and copyright law
- Experience with patent prosecution including drafting specifications and navigating examination
- Knowledge of international IP treaties (PCT, Madrid Protocol, Berne Convention) and multi-jurisdictional IP protection
- Strong technical aptitude for understanding and patenting technology innovations
- Experience with IP licensing, technology transfer, and commercialization agreements
