You will architect evidence handling protocols that preserve chain of custody from collection through courtroom presentation.

Your practice will cover the complete evidence lifecycle — from the legal requirements for evidence acquisition and preservation, through forensic examination protocols, to expert witness testimony and courtroom presentation. You will work at the intersection of forensic science and procedural law, ensuring that the technical excellence of S3-SENTINEL's investigative capabilities translates into legally actionable evidence.

This role requires deep understanding of both digital forensics and evidence law — someone who can review a forensic acquisition procedure and immediately identify potential admissibility challenges across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and enforce legal protocols for digital evidence collection, preservation, and handling across 18 countries
  • Ensure S3-SENTINEL forensic operations meet admissibility standards for Indian, EU, and international judicial systems
  • Review forensic acquisition procedures and identify potential admissibility challenges across jurisdictions
  • Develop chain of custody documentation templates and procedures that satisfy multi-jurisdictional requirements
  • Advise on legal requirements for digital forensic examinations including imaging, analysis, and reporting
  • Provide legal guidance on evidence discovery, disclosure obligations, and privilege considerations
  • Coordinate with forensic examiners to ensure legal compliance at every stage of the evidence lifecycle
  • Prepare legal opinions on digital evidence admissibility for internal stakeholders and external proceedings
  • Advise on electronic evidence authentication, integrity verification, and expert witness requirements
  • Monitor evolving case law and judicial standards for digital evidence admissibility across operational jurisdictions

Required

  • Qualified legal professional with specialization in digital evidence, forensic law, or criminal procedure
  • Deep understanding of digital evidence admissibility standards across Indian and international judicial systems
  • Knowledge of forensic imaging, hashing, and chain of custody procedures and their legal implications
  • Experience with electronic evidence rules including Indian Evidence Act amendments, FRE 901/902, and EU equivalents
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying evidentiary vulnerabilities in forensic procedures
