NLP Systems Engineer
As an NLP Systems Engineer at MaxiMize Infinium, you will build the production NLP infrastructure that powers PERCEPTION X2's multi-lingual analysis across 18 countries. You will engineer the systems-level components — model serving, inference optimization, and pipeline architecture — that enable all 10 proprietary platforms to process natural language at sovereign scale.

About the Role
While NLP research focuses on model architecture, NLP systems engineering focuses on making those models work at sovereign scale in production. You will build the infrastructure that takes PERCEPTION X2's NLP models from research prototypes to production systems processing millions of text documents daily.
This role sits at the intersection of NLP expertise and systems engineering. You will optimize transformer model inference for throughput and latency, build scalable text processing pipelines, and design the serving infrastructure that delivers NLP capabilities to all 10 platforms in real-time.
The systems you build must handle the unique challenges of multi-lingual NLP — complex tokenization across scripts, right-to-left language processing, and mixed-language content analysis — while maintaining the performance and reliability standards required for sovereign operations.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize production NLP serving infrastructure for PERCEPTION X2's multi-lingual models
- Design high-throughput text processing pipelines handling millions of documents daily across 50+ languages
- Implement model compression, quantization, and distillation techniques for efficient inference deployment
- Build custom tokenization and preprocessing systems for complex scripts and mixed-language content
- Design GPU/TPU cluster management systems for distributed NLP model inference
- Implement caching, batching, and request optimization for NLP API endpoints serving all 10 platforms
- Build monitoring and observability systems for NLP model performance, latency, and throughput
- Design failover and redundancy systems ensuring NLP capability availability across 18-country deployment
- Collaborate with CLAIRVOYANCE CX and TERRAFORM-IQ teams on shared NLP infrastructure components
- Evaluate and implement emerging NLP acceleration technologies (ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, custom kernels)
What You Bring
Skills & Expertise
Required
- Strong proficiency in Python and systems programming (C++, Rust, or Go for performance-critical components)
- Deep experience with NLP model deployment and serving frameworks (vLLM, TGI, Triton, or equivalent)
- Experience with GPU computing, CUDA programming, and hardware acceleration for ML workloads
- Solid understanding of transformer architectures and their computational requirements
- Experience building production APIs and microservices with strict latency requirements
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and ML workload management
Preferred
- Experience with model compression techniques (pruning, quantization, knowledge distillation)
- Knowledge of custom kernel development for ML acceleration
- Experience building multi-tenant NLP serving platforms
